In this picture you can see the hot water expansion vessel is piped up incorrectly (i have drawn a red line to show the fault).
The kingspan tribune unvented cylinder is in fault condition and is most likely to be discharging through the tundish (Black cup with hole through it).
This tribune unvented cylinder needed to be re-piped to enable safe running conditions.
What happens when the hot water expansion vessel is piped up incorrctly?
-Everytime the water in the unit is heating up, expansion happens and pushes against a rubber bladder inside the expansion vessel to keep the system in optimal pressure.
In the picture the expanion vessel is basically being bypassed and may aswell not be on the system.
This happens to be one of the most common faults that start with the installation of this tribune unvented cylinder.
